Transfer from airport or prebooked hotel in Sofia to the village of Golyam Izvor and get acquainted with the horses. Then we set off on the trail to Lisets Mountain. After climbing into the forest, we will reach an open area with a wonderful view of Stara Planina. The trail will take us to the Glozhen Monastery, through a centuries-old beech forest. After the visit we return to Golyam Izvor by another route. Overnight.

Riding: 4 hours

Today we will walk around Golyam Izvor to see how the locals live. Then we will gallop along the hills between the villages and return again for our second night in the village. We will have lunch on the way. Riding: 4-5 hours

Today’s route will take us above the village and through the meadows where there are many opportunities to gallop. Then we enter a pine forest and head towards Lopyan village, where is our third overnight in a local guest house. You can optionally visit the Etropol Monastery and the waterfall next to it (30 min by car). Riding: 5 hours

The route again passes through a forest, which will take us to an open ridge. From there, we descend to Cherni Vit, where we will leave the horses. In the afternoon, we visit one of the most beautiful caves in Bulgaria - Saevata Dupka. Overnight stay in a guest house in Cherni Vit.

Riding: 4-5 hours

Today we ride a circular route from/to Cherni Vit. We pass near the Boatin Park, part of the protected areas of the Central Balkan Nature Reserve. In the afternoon, we depart by bus/car to Teteven, where we spend the rest of the day. Overnight stay in a hotel in Teteven. Optional visit to Troyanski Manastir (80 km) or the mineral springs swimming pools in Chiflik.

Riding: 4-5 hours

A morning transfer takes us to Cherni Vit, where we left the horses for the night the previous day. During this day we head back to Golyam Izvor, enjoying the landscapes of the previous days for the last time. Transfer to airport for flight back home or for extra overnight in Sofia.
